We believe that the collaboration between different players of the design of a new project, represents a new frontier of sustainability. The sharing of know-how, sales force, research and development between different companies of the same supply chain is the right asset to develop more quickly sustainable innovation, aimed at different markets and different customers.

Starting from these assumptions, the collaboration between Pusterla 1880 and Lumson, a company specialized in the production of primary packaging for the cosmetic sector, was born, looking for sustainable alternatives to add to its range of products.

Airless Paper Packaging

THE NEW INNOVATIVE, TECHNOLOGICAL AND SUSTAINABLE AIRLESS PACKAGING

In response to the cosmetic industry’s strong desire to move toward more sustainable materials, Lumson has realized an alternative to its glass, plastic and aluminum pouch airless with a new paper container airless.

XPAPER is a pouch technology airless in which the outershell is in cardboard and therefore 100% plastic-free and 100% recyclable.

The high-quality airless pouch techno- logy ensures maximum preservation of the skincare or makeup formulas.

An extremely versatile system that can be customized in million ways through different decoration te- chniques to make the packaging unique an give it a strong personality.

For a sustainable approach…

Another key element that makes XPAPER a sustainable packaging is the possibility, once the product is finished, to easily separate the plastic components from the paper and recycle each part in the appropriate way.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

XPAPER airless pouch system is composed of

  • cardboard external outershell, 100% recyclable, is realized with FSC(Forest Stewardship Council®) paper and coming from European sourcing;
  • single or multilayer plastic inner pouch;
  • plastic airless pump and PP/PCR PP overcap;
  • available in15, 30, 50ml;
  • XPAPER is a 100% made in Italy product
