In 2022, Pusterla 1880 Group committed to partner with Green Future Project to support Eden Reforestation Projects in regenerating mangrove habitat along the estuaries of Madagascar’s west coast. This sustainable initiative has helped absorb a total of 115,435.5 kg of CO2 equivalent.
Green Future Project, is an Italian Climate Tech that guides companies along the path of sustainability. Among the different services offered, it helps companies support conservation projects in the most at-risk areas of our planet, preserving biodiversity and involving local communities.
Among the projects proposed by Green Future Project, Pusterla has chosen to support the planting of mangrove trees for their enormous capacity to absorb carbon dioxide and other gases and therefore for their fundamental importance in mitigating the effects of climate change (on average , each mangrove tree absorbs 12.3 kg of CO2 per year).
